My cousin Kiersten Snapkoski is leading a fundraiser to help give back to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ever since they stepped in to help with her brother's intense treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
To help Kiersten raise money, I will be leading a VIRTUAL RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS on TUESDAY FEBRUARY 22 at 7 PM. You do not have to have any yoga experience for this class - just a quiet-ish space in your home and a bunch of pillows and blankets - I will send more details the day of the class.
Register for the class here or if you’re unable to attend the class you can just click here to donate.
This is her WHY story:
My brother, Drew was diagnosed with a rare, high-risk form of ALL when he was just five years old. Drew is now nine and has been off treatment for a year.
Drew’s experience with LLS has inspired me to give 110% to my campaign. Maintaining a 4.0+ grade point average, participating in three high school sports and maintaining a typical high school social calendar, I made the very important decision to make this campaign a priority.
My little brother and LLS have taught me that my family and I can do hard things. Supporting the organization that helped save my brother’s life was an easy one. I hope that supporting my efforts will be an easy decision for you as well.
My goal is to raise $125,000 between January 8th and February 26th. I can't do it alone. With the support of my amazing team members and you, we can make a difference and get one step closer to stopping the fight against blood cancer and beyond
All donations are greatly appreciated and tax-deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.
Please help us reach our goal and donate, and tell anyone you know to donate as well.
